Taupo

I had a fantastic holiday in Taupo. One of the best bits was.... the hot spring pools; the hot springs were nice because they are really hot, they are under a waterfall, there are two of them next to each other.  It was really fun, we had to go early because it was raining and the parents were standing in the rain watching us in a hot spring pool. It was my favorite part of the holidays.    

Skiing

On Monday the 16 Room2 went skiing at MT Ruapehu  it was so fun. First we had to hire all the gear then we had the lessons, they taught me lots, like how to stop and go fast. My favourite bit was free time because we got to go really fast. I saw this really weird thing called a magic carpet. It was hard to get on, sometimes  you almost fall over, it has lots of grip. At the end there are chairlifts, they stop, sometimes that can be scary. When we were about to leave a man came out of the café and took some photos of me and my friend Javan, he gave Javan a good luck charm called lucky. It was a fun day.
